Journal of Foodtech and Agroindustry in Tropic (JFAT) is a national journal published twice a year in the months of March and September. The Journal was established in 2019 by the Dept. of Food Technology, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Purwokerto (UNU Purwokerto) aimed to disseminate knowledge, innovation, science and technology, as well as research results in all the areas of Postharvest Technology, Food Science and Technology, Food Nutrition, Chemistry and Food Biochemistry, Food Microbiology and Biotechnology, Food Security and Safety. Food Production and Quality, Food Sensory, Halal Food, Food Engineering, Bioprocess Technology, Agroindustrial Engineering and Technology, Agroindustrial Management and System, Agroindustrial Manufacturing System, Sustainable and Smart Agroindustry (Based on Computer System, Internet of Think, and Artificial Intelligence), Waste and Wastewater Treatment, Renewable Energy and Biorefinery from Agroindustrial Waste, Food Business and Entrepreneurship, and related fields, especially in the tropical area.
