Abstract

This article aims to explore the implications of Islamic values-based leadership in the context of learning biology and the responsibility of protecting the environment. This approach allows the formation of character of students who are not only scientifically intelligent, but also responsible, fair, and caring for the natural environment. We discuss how Islamic-based leadership influences approaches in biology learning, integrating the values of justice, sustainability, and moral responsibility in teaching. In addition, we highlight the role of principals as agents of change, integrate environmental principles into school policies, and engage students in environmental projects. This article offers in-depth insights into how this approach creates a generation of students who are skilled and care about the future of the earth, making a significant contribution to environmental management and global sustainability.
