Intercultural communicative competence stands as a cornerstone in modern English as a Foreign Language education, playing a pivotal role in nurturing learners' abilities to navigate diverse cultural landscapes. This systematic review meticulously examines the perspectives and practices of EFL educators in integrating intercultural communicative competence into language teaching, drawing insights from a comprehensive analysis of diverse studies across global contexts, the systematic review methodology of Gough and Newman’s way employed. The findings underscore a discrepancy between teachers' positive perceptions and practices in integrating intercultural communicative competence into the EFL classroom. Besides, the researchers highlight the responsibility of educators in fostering inclusive learning environments that empower learners with the indispensable skills for successful cross-cultural communication in an interconnected world.

Implementation of Movie Making as Instagram Content in the Extended Speaking Class

This journal contained analysis of implementation in movie making as Instagram Content in the Extended Speaking Class. Instagram as a popular media for improving speaking skills in the era of gadgets. Most of people have Instagram account in the recent time. They are very active in using Instagram. Anything can be viral on this platform. This study presented the students’ perceptions of implementation in movie making as Instagram content in the Extended Speaking Class. The data were analyzed by using qualitative standard of research using interview. The outputs achieved in this study are accredited national journals, book chapters, seminars, and online news media publications. The result of this research that there were the influences from implementation in movie making as Instagram content in the extended speaking class. The first showed that participants got enhancing vocabularies from the movie dialogue. Secondly, the participants likely practiced English Pronunciation. Then, the implementation of movie making became a media of expression for increased confidence in speaking. The last result is creativity building.

ARIES App in Academic Writing Class: Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Analysis

The research aims to investigate ARIES app acceptance in academic writing class. In the university, one of the skills that must be learned is academic writing. Most jobs require strong academic writing skill, lecturers are obligated to equip students to become professional writers to enter the future career. The various applications provide benefits for students, the fact that students spend more time in existing technology and show mastery of information technology provide opportunities for lecturers to motivate students who have no motivation to write. Lecturers have implemented ARIES (Assisted Revision In English Style) to improve students academic writing, the researchers explore Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which is intended to analyze the acceptance of students on information system. The total samples are 25 students from English education department Universitas Islam Makassar. The data were collected through questionnaire and interview. The finding shows that there was a positive response to the acceptance of Aries App in all contexts, Aries App provided new atmosphere for students in academic writing. Additionally, from interview, students emphasized that using the Aries App made students possible to complete academic writing given by the lecturer anywhere and anytime. In the conclusion, the students acceptance of Aries App relates to behavior performed by students.
